Trigger Finger Release - Dr. Bosley

DESERT ORTHOPEDIC CENTER In the spectrum of orthopedic surgeries, trigger finger release is perhaps one of the smallest surgeries that we perform. The surgery is most commonly done under local anesthetic only. You will receive an injection of lidocaine with dilute epinephrine while in the preop holding area. You are then taken to the operating room where a small incision, less than half an inch, is made at the base of the patient’s palm.
