Laminectomy - Patient Education

Laminectomy is a surgical procedure that attempts to relieve pressure on the spinal cord, cauda equina, or nerve roots in the spine. During a laminectomy, the surgeon will remove bony and soft-tissue anatomy to open up the spinal canal and create more space for the nerves that have been
